I requested a student and she did amazing. I got a caramel brown highlight and a clean up wax on my eyebrows. She took her time but it came out amazing! 99% of the time I love this place. Yesterday wasn't one of those times. I showed a picture and described what I wanted. I walked out with something totally different plus i.asked for a specific person but must of had the wrong name because it wasn't the person I expected. Thank goodness hair grows back the person who cut my hair was nice but didn't listen to what I specifically said . The best! If you want a good men's haircut, go see Amber... I really like this place and I will continue to go, but if you have a question about getting something done, ask if there is a second part to it. One of my teenagers wanted a procedure done... I went in and asked for the price and when I went to pick up this teenager, I was told that there is a second part to getting this done. I should have been told-- I know that there are students here, but I should still be told things because I can't be expected to do my homework on every single thing and this is why I was paying to get it done as opposed to buying products myself. I hate this place and I will never go back! They screwed up my hair big time! I had asked for caramel highlights to give depth to my light brown hair. The girl said it was no problem. I had never had my hair dyed before, but I knew something wasn't right when she put my hair in big foils instead of using a cap. When she was done foiling my hair, she went to the back for an hour! I could feel and smell my hair burning. I had to ask another hairstylist to grab the lady who did my hair from the back, because I think my hair was done. The lady came out checked my hair and said, "Oh! It looks soooo pretty!" However, I could tell from everyone else's faces it did NOT look good. The stylist refused to let me see my hair until it was done. When I looked in the mirror I was shocked! My hair had thick chunks of a yellow blonde color with hardly any brown! It was so not at all what I had asked for. In shock, I payed for my hair and then went outside and cried. My friend tried to tell me it wasn't that bad, but after I cried out, "I look like Narssisa Mafloy!" She laughed and admitted it was pretty bad. I went across the street and bought myself a hat. After my mom saw my hair she encouraged me to call them and say what had happened. They told me I could get it fixed, but i had to wait two weeks to get it fixed. I was humiliated and angry. To reverse it, they had to dye my hair a SUPER dark red color and my hair has never been the same. Worst hair salon I have ever been to! If I could give it 0 stars or negative stars I would!
