They ripped my low profile tire when taking it off the rim. I paid for a tire change over. Then they put All 4 tires in bags and in my trunk. I trusted everything was good until it was the next season I went to have the tires put back on and had to buy a new tire on the spot because of the damage Midas of Palmer had caused to one of my tires. I called immedietly to tell the manager what had happened and the employee said there was nothing that he could do and the manager is unavailable. Well what they could have done was make the situation right! Them ripping my tire screwed me out of $175. I will never ever go to Midas or recommend Midas ever again. These guys are top notch. They are professional, polite, helpful and explain everything on on a level non-mechanics can understand. :) I give this place one star not because of the quality of work performed but the business practices. About a year ago I brought my Ford exploder in because of a horrid popping noise coming the the front left wheel when I turned. I told the guy at the counter what the problem was and that I had a 1900 dollar limit to fix THAT problem, I was told I would be called if it got out of that price range. Perfect. So I went to work and was called later to pick up my truck. When I got in I was told my final bill was 1850ish and some change (Don't remember the exact price) I was also told "Yeah while we were fixing your front end we noticed your front brake pads were worn out so we fixed those too but we stayed under 1900!" I never asked for my brake pads to be changed, nor did I want them done in a shop. I can do that kind of work myself easily. I wasn't called or asked if I wanted them changed either. The vehicle was braking fine for me, and Napa is right down the road where I could have got the brake pads and changed them myself at home saving me the shop time charges. Why do work outside the range of what you were asked to do? Just to pad a bill? That's crooked as all hell. I will never come back to this place, neither will my friends or family. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. I would just like to give Art a big thank you for helping my granddaughter and myself..A very nice "old school" man. Friendly staff, decent prices, timely repairs and oil changes.
