It is the only gas station in a very busy town. Prices are ridiculous for small convenience items. It is recommended to bring any needed items with you when visiting the Butte/Knik River/Jim Creek area so you won't pay $5 for a gallon of milk. It's got it all and at a good price. What a great drive and beautiful scenery. Friendly staff The Cook makes the best burgers of my life. Everybody there is super nice and friendly but in the store the drinks and what not are a bit pricy. But all together it's a cozy place to eat a good god meal. Great pie and EXCELLENT burgers. Service was friendly and efficient! It's in a great location for aurora chasers to stop in and grab a bite on the way out - sure would be fantastic if it were open later or even all night!
