Beautiful garden to walk through. Free entry to a small museum and garden. Sometimes you can catch the farmers market across the street from the gardens. We hadn't planned on this but the community has so much pride in their history, we couldn't pass it up. Definitely worth the time. Learned things about the area we never would have. Lots of good stuff. Friendly staff. Interesting place to visit Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice collection of settlers relics and nice garden. This is a wonderful place to visit to learn all about Palmer and the surrounding area. The museum curator and her staff are knowledgeable and fun individuals who are happy to share what they know and they are a huge part of what makes Palmer a great place to live and visit. Local artists and merchants are very active in the events, especially for Second Saturdays.
