Sent my daughtet to pick up a couple of parcels, toilet papet and papertowels from Amazon. She did not have our address on her id wouldnt let her call me to verify it was ok on her phone she had to drive all the way out fishook for me to sign and put her name on slip. I could see if certified but no help at all. We've been going there 15 yrs. My god. The retirement paid vacations and salsry they should be happiest people around I went in to renew my passport. I researched and found on the passport application site: "You can also renew your passport by bringing your prepared renewal application to a Post Office™ location." So I found this post office listed with Passport services. The hours were posted only 10-3p for passports. I wait in line at around 11 to be told that the only lady in the building who can do them is on break, and oh, we don't do renewals anyway. What?! This place is hands down the worst. Slow service. Misplaced packages. They'll mark something as delivered when it's not. Just in the past two weeks they've failed to deliver to my door despite telling the vendor they would (though they have never ever delivered to my door. It's always been either to the looked mailbox or leaving a pickup package notice) Then just today, I got notice from Amazon that my package was delivered. I figured it must mean the post office put it in the locked package slot. Except it wasn't there, nor was there a notice for pickup slip. And yet online the tracking is marked that it was handed "directly to the resident" at 7:26am....except if that were the case, it was to the wrong resident! Again, just the worst. Well, if you need to mail out a lot of packages and arrange (and PAY for) package pickup, just expect them to never show up to pick up the packages (but of course online they will state that they did in fact attempt to pick up the packages), and then expect them to never answer the phone when you call to notify them of this repeated problem. I love my little town, but something has got to change with the way the post office is run. Very nice staff when I have gone in, wait time is shorten then I experienced anywhere else.
