Arrived June 1after talking with them earlier in the week concerning a place to stay the summer. They were very accommodating helpful and fair in pricing. Only 35 to 40 minutes to Anchorage in taking the old Glenn Hwy back around from the park. Can't wait until the fresh veggies are ready from the farm that is right beside Mtn View RV Beautiful views!! Showers were nice, hot and FREE! We liked it so much that we stopped there twice. Loved it there. Very nice park. Helpful staff. Took a large caravan there. No problrms. Cclean, individual bathrooms/showers. Beautiful sites at the base of a mountain. WiFi, close neighboring sites. Full service, individual bath/shower rooms. Friendly people. Quiet!!!! I have stayed at Mt. View many times over the years so here are my observations 1) No views? What, it is surrounded by beautiful mountains 2) Not level? It is a beautiful grass field, there might be a 1 inch drop across each site 3) Zero shade? Kids this is Alaska not Death Valley, who needs shade? 4) This is a good place to stay however it is not a corporate RV park....
