I stayed in a large cabin with several friends. The staff were very friendly and easy going. They were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. I would return there without a doubt and recommend the cabin to my friends. Went up to the lodge for the first time with my children and 90 year old dad this evening. The lodge has wonderful character , very quaint clean and the most beautiful views of the rolling green mountains. It will take your breath away. The staff is very friendly an accommodating. I love there help your self coffee and tea area... coffee is very good too! I recommend their salmon melt with side salad. My dad ordered salad with his salmon melt... blu cheese dressing is made from scratch and the lettuce was very crisp and fresh. Prices are a little high but I understand the lodge is like a million miles from Anchorage and it cost more to get supplies up the mountain. It's all worth it and we will be back!
