I had some friends here from Australia and wanted them to get to experience some genuine Alaskan wilderness and soak in the beauty of the back country. Even tho it was late October, it was a gorgeous day for a ride and on the trails Joshua takes, his riders are surrounded by breathtaking views. We took the 3 hour ride and tho my friends have very little riding experience, none of us were sore. Even if we had been, it would have been worth it. They said it was the most relaxing, spectacular day of their visit to Alaska! Thank you Alaska Horse Adventures! Wonderful experience from booking the ride to finishing the ride. I booked online the night before of my planned trail ride and asked for black horses and it happened. The trail guide was very receptive in taking everyone's picture at a scenic point during the ride. They made us feel like we were important and that our experience was valuable to them as it was to us. -Thank You for an amazing experience! The ride was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! The sweet staff at Alaska Horse Adventures made my entire family feel so safe + special. Some of us were more confident on horses, some more nervous, but they did a great job matching us to the right horses and making us feel comfortable. It was the perfect family activity and we would highly recommend this excellent business! They will give you an experience you won't forget (and the scenery is breathtaking!!!!). We had a beautiful trail ride for over 2 hours through the woods and to the beach. Hosanna was amazing! We all rode Tennessee walkers (my 1st time on TW) and the horses were great! A beautiful location with beautiful, well tended to horses, and excellent guides! Thank you again Hosanna! I have never written a review for anything, this ride was amazing our guide, the owner was amazing he took great photos and is very easy going person, that will help you with any trouble you have to make sure it's a great ride for you. i would recommend this for all ages great day!!
